Wrapping up 2011

Can you believe 2011 is already over?  It was an interesting year for me to say the least.  One of the highlights has been the time I have been able to spend with my daughter.  She has grown-up so much over the past year, especially her ability to think in future terms not just the right now.  One of the easiest ways to see this is in her desire to continue the "Elaina Saves the World" project.
The past couple of pick-up have been smaller than usual due to the holidays and it being winter.  It was getting her down a little bit until I was able to show her that she is already a quarter of the way to her goal of being able to "adopt" Nicholas the Elephant.  I have already put her to bed tonight, but I am looking forward to tomorrow when I can show her the 2011 grand totals of recycling that with your help she has been able to save from the landfill.
